Perth Area Consultative Committee

Perth ACC is a non-profit, community-based organisation funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Infrastructure,Transport, Regional Development and Local Government. The Honourable Anthony Albanese MP is the Minister.

As part of the National Network of Area Consultative Committees (the only Australian Government funded regional based network that covers the whole of Australia). Perth ACC provides an important link between the Australian Government and the whole of Perth region. Perth ACC is uniquely placed to respond to issues in our region and we provide a vital conduit to government on local social, environmental and economic conditions. Perth ACC has a community engagement role - facilitating flexible solutions for communities that work to address local problems.

Perth ACC works to the direction of the Perth ACC Management Committee. This committee comprises of representatives from various areas of the community, business and government. Our Chair, Elizabeth Taylor, is appointed by the Minister for the Department of Infrastructure,Transport, Regional Development and Local Government

We assist communities to develop local solutions to local problems based on our knowledge and understanding of local circumstances and conditions. Our region spans from Yanchep - Two Rocks in the north to Mundaring in the east, down to Armadale and Cockburn in the south.

Every three years the Perth ACC develops a Strategic Regional Plan, which is our guide to how we can best address the needs of the Perth region, to assist economic development and jobs growth.

Area Consultative Committees are a catalyst to facilitate co-operation between Federal, State and Local Governments and we provide a valuable linkage between local communities, business and Government. Please contact us for further details on Perth ACC or the National Network of ACCs.
